Barrel Racing Saddles

Made for speed, these saddles are the smallest and lightest western saddles, keeping their riders secure and increasing maneuverability.  Barrel saddles often feature tall, thin horns, deep seats, and high forks.  The fenders, side jockeys and seat are rough-out, and the cantle is relatively high.  There is no flank cinch, and the skirts are short on these lighter saddles.  The deeper seat enables the rider to stay in place during the horse's fast or hard turns.  The horn is designed taller and thinner for easier hold during hard turns.
